Before reaching the Leverdard Islands in the Caribbean area, the storm is predicted to be more dangerous than 'Maria' in the next 48 hours. Hurricane warnings have been issued in Martinique, Guadeloupe, Dominica, St. Kitts, Nevis and Montserrat.

Antigua and Barbuda, Saba, St Eustatius and St. Lucia have warned of tropical storms. Storm warnings have also been issued in US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, St. Martin, St. Barthélemy and Anguilla.
